First Session
What to expect when we first meet
The first session is an initial assessment: a chance to understand what brings you to therapy and to see whether working together feels like the right fit.

How I can help
In the first session, we will talk about what has been happening, what you would like help with and any relevant background. You do not need to tell everything at once; the session is guided at a manageable pace.
For couples, I will make space for both people to describe what feels difficult and what each of you hopes might change.
If we decide to continue, we can agree a regular time and focus for the work. If another kind of support would be more suitable, we can also think about that together.
The service user and confidentiality agreement is available to download before your first session.
