I support trainees in developing clinical confidence, reflective practice, and professional identity throughout their placement work. I also offer guidance with preparing clinical case studies, reflective writing, and accreditation submissions for professional registration and accreditation processes.
I believe supervision is most effective when it is collaborative, reflective, and emotionally containing, while also encouraging curiosity, creativity, and professional growth.
I aim to provide a supportive space where supervisees feel safe to explore:
- clinical challenges and therapeutic impasses
- moments of uncertainty or feeling stuck
- therapeutic interventions and clinical decision-making
- ethical questions and dilemmas
- the emotional impact of clinical work
- self-care and practitioner wellbeing
- professional development, CPD, and accreditation work
While I draw from a range of supervisory and therapeutic models, my approach is primarily informed by the Seven-Eyed Model of Supervision, allowing us to consider the multiple layers of the therapeutic relationship and process.
