Psychosexual therapy takes a holistic and compassionate approach, recognising that sexual wellbeing is influenced by the body, mind, relationships, life experiences, culture, and physical health. Difficulties are approached with sensitivity, curiosity, and without judgement.

Sexual difficulties may be lifelong or may appear after periods of previously satisfying sexual experiences. They can be influenced by stress, trauma, relationship difficulties, shame, anxiety, cultural or religious beliefs, medical conditions, menopause, cancer treatment, medication, fatigue, or major life changes.
