Experience

Specialist training in relationships, sexuality and supervision

I am an experienced relationship counsellor, psychosexual therapist and clinical supervisor. I am registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, accredited with the College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists, and a member of the UK Council for Psychotherapy.

My professional journey began in 2006 with specialist training at the Tavistock Centre for Couple Relationships, followed by advanced clinical training at the Relate Institute, where I completed an MA in Relationship Therapy and a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychosexual Therapy.

In addition to my therapeutic work, I am a trained clinical supervisor through The Grove Practice and provide supervision to both trainees and experienced therapists across Relate National, the NHS and private practice. I also hold a part-time role as a Senior Psychosexual Therapist in Oncology at The Royal Marsden Hospital, where I support patients recovering from cancer treatments and contribute to the development of training programmes for healthcare professionals.

My work experience is listed on LinkedIn.

I work integratively, drawing on a range of therapeutic models to offer a personalised, flexible and thoughtful approach to therapy.

My training encompasses systemic approaches, including narrative, family systems and postmodern ideas; psychodynamic approaches, including object relations and attachment therapy; and cognitive-behavioural approaches.

This integrative model allows me to tailor the therapeutic process to each client’s individual experiences, needs and goals. By combining elements from different psychological frameworks and clinical research, I aim to provide therapy that is both effective and sensitive to the unique dynamics of every individual and couple I work with.
